St. Oliver’s PS wished Mr. Byrne a fond farewell on Friday. The children in all our classes presented our Acting Principal with pictures, paintings, stories and poems…all lovely mementos of his short stay in Carrickrovaddy.
Our Primary 6 & 7s entertained everyone with a talent filled concert … with Mr. Byrne as our guest of honour, of course!
Students and staff enjoyed the opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you to a principal whose efforts and dedication made a massive impact on our whole school community.
St. Oliver’s wishes our globe trotting Mr. Byrne all the very best in the future… whether he’s in Kansas, Budapest, Newry…or even at his Granny’s!!!
