We came back to school on Tuesday to find that our caterpillars had grown A LOT over the long weekend. On Friday when we left they measured 2.5cm long and very thin (first picture). Today when we measured them they were 4 cm long and chubby (second and third picture). It won't be long until they go into their cocoons.
We have amazing mummies and daddies in Rec/P1/P2 because our caterpillar babies are checked every morning and several times during the day by the boys and girls. They are really loving our caterpillar topic. Check in next week for more updates
