Our P6/7 class had a fabulous day, hiking with Colin and Phil from the OK! Let’s Walk! team.
They took the forest route up Slieve Martin, their destination being the legendary Cloughmore Stone.
Our guides informed the children all about the flora and fauna found around the Mournes.
They also provided the kids with important safety info on trekking and gave them some survival tips too.
As you can see, we witnessed some stunning views of Carlingford Lough and the Mourne Mountains.
A great day out, experiencing the wonder of nature!
