In the heart of autumn, as the leaves began to fall, Mrs McCreesh's P4 and P5 class eagerly participated in the Young Writers Wonder Verse competition. The children embraced the enchanting theme of Halloween and created imaginative poems, stories and songs filled with tales of pumpkins and shadows, pouring their creativity into every line.
To our delight, every single P4 & P5 entry was chosen for publication, a remarkable achievement in a competition where approximately 60% of participants often get selected nationally.
We are all immensely proud of this accomplishment. As the new year approaches, there is anticipation for the arrival of the published book and the results of the next stage of the competition. Well done children!
