Last term we began our new house system whereby the whole school was split into teams of 14 who were all called after the Children of Lir who reputedly spent some time in this locality when they werer banished by their evil stepmom. After a very close contest where all teams received a token for good behaviour, manners, respect, work ethic, improvement, effort and all things relating to trying your best the winning team was Conn and they can be seen celebrating their win when Mr Tierney give them an afternoon off to enjoy a film with some popcorn, chocolate and a fruit drink. Well done team Conn and hopefully the other three teams will receive their awards before the end of the year.
