May Assembly
20th May 2024
Our year 6/7 children held a special assembly today honouring Mary our Mother. They told us about the old Irish tradition of having a May Altar with wild flowers. Y7s researched information about Knock, Fatima and Lourdes.
This was extra special as Niamh in Y4 has just returned from Lourdes after making her first communion there. She gave us a special Mass Bouquet for the school community and Holy Water.
The assembly finished off with a lovely verse of "Queen of the May".
