A Huge "Well Done" to The Friends Of St. Oliver's Parents Group ! They hosted a fantastically successful
fundraising Night At The Races recently in Dorsey Community Centre.
It was a night full of thrills and spills as
each runner and rider raced in an effort to reach the finishing post. A few stewards enquiries revealed a
disproportionate amount of cheating, whilst there are rumours that some loose horses ran off course and are
still to be seen, trotting around Dorsey.
A big thank you must go out to all who made this event a massive success; everyone who attended; all who
sponsored races ; those who donated so generously and the children who collected donations.
The money raised will be used to buy essential Literacy and Numeracy resources for St.Oliver's PS.
