Our Year 4 children received their First Holy Communion today from Canon Toner in St Oliver's church. Our Y5,6 and 7 children came to sing in the choir and Caiti in Y6 played the tin whistle beautifully during the offertory procession A special thank you to their teacher Mrs Murphy, Learning Support Assistants Ms Kelly, Mrs Hearty and Mrs McConville for all their work in preparing the children for this special day. We also had volunteers from our PTA come along and prepare a wonderful spread of cakes and buns for the children in school immediately afterwards. Thank you to Lauren our Clerical officer and Shiela McGarvey for their help with this too. I'm sure our children will have lovely memories of their very special day.
