Today, at 11am, our seven P7s were due to receive the Holy Sacrament of Confirmation.
Together with sponsors, family and friends, our pupils were eagerly anticipating the the journey to St. Patrick's
Church, Cullyhanna. (Weather -wise , what a day it would have been!)
There, they planned to solemnly accept Gifts and Fruits of the Holy Spirit,establishing them as fully fledged
members in the Catholic faith.
However, that happy celebration will have to take place at a later time.
On this special day, we ask the Holy Spirit to watch over these seven Primary Sevens . The whole St. Oliver's school
community wish our Confirmandi ...Lucy, Daithi, Sophia, Tomas, Oisin, Ross and Jack ...all the
best. We'll see you all again real soon ...and watch out for our theme song...coming up later on!!!!
