Climbing Slieve Gullion
30th May 2024
Year 6/7 had a great day today climbing Slieve Gullion as part of our Extended Schools Programme.
Our fantastic guides told us some amazing facts and stories about the mountain and the surrounding area. We were so high up we could see many other counties in Ireland and we thought the wind might actually blow us away at one point!
We had strange tents to eat our lunch in and the hot chocolate at the end was the icing on the cake!
