Last term we were hugely impressed with our level of reading in St Oliver's but unbelievably we have achieved even more success this term with a number of milestones being reached. This year alone from P4 to P7 we have read over 2 and half million words with primary seven children reading over I million which is a remarkable feat considering there are only 5 in the class. Mrs Mc Creesh also initiated a new reading group called Bug Club which has been rolled out to the key stage one children with the P3s staying behind for an extended schools club which they all loved.
